The year 2021 ends well for CRDB Bank with five awards including excellence over the weekend by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).
The bank has become the only East and Central African region to win an award from the world-renowned institution for research involving quality and service quality issues. Receiving the award at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, CRDB Bank Business Planning Manager. Masele Msita said it was a great honor for them to be recognized for quality which adds to the confidence of customers and their other stakeholders.
“Quality is part of the backbone of our bank. We are delighted to receive this award from ESQR which goes hand in hand with our aspirations. CRDB emphasizes and promotes the quality of services and products it provides to customers and other stakeholders in partnership with them in nation building.
“We are accomplishing this by strengthening our internal systems,” he said at a presentation ceremony attended by representatives of winning organizations and companies from African, European, Asian, American and Australian states.
Congratulating CRDB Bank for the award. ESQR CEO Edward Ryner said the awards they provide are a guarantee of quality for corporate stakeholders and encourage management to take concrete steps to continue to improve quality for its customers and other stakeholders.
This award recognizes CRDB Bank as a good adherent of service ethics with great competence. It shows how the bank differentiates itself in the market by designing secure digital services, “said Ryner.
The award marks the sixth time for CRDB Bank to win this year as it remembered the first winner of the Financial Reporting Award (FiRe) and became the best bank of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) awards.
Another award is the best innovative bank in Tanzania presented by Global Finance Magazine, the best bank that meets its customers’ expectations presented by PANFinance as well as the best bank in the digital innovation Consumer Choice Awards.
CRDB Bank is one of the largest national banks with branches in Burundi and plans to open more in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as well as South Sudan in the next few days.
