Tanzania’s leading digital lifestyle company, Tigo, has today launched a new trivia service dubbed Tigo Kandanda where Tigo subsrcibers will be invited to participate through SMS and for each football related question answered,points will be rewarded. The more questions answered the more the points and the more the chances a subscriber stands a chance of winning a cash prize.
Speaking to members of the press, The Tigo Value Added Specialist, Nurdin Lugembe said, “Over the years we have been looking at ways that our customers can engage with the brand and inturn benefit. Tigo Kandanda comes into the market as an innovative trivia service that will give Tigo subscribers an additional reason to use their phone with a key aim of getting cash prizes”.
“An invitation will be sent via sms to the Tigo subscriber, a customer can begin playing by answering football related questions, they will inturn stand a chance to win cash prizes from a minimum of 100,000 Tshs to a maximum of 18 million Tshs,Smart phoneand a gift voucher to shop at Shafii Dauda’s sports wear store.” explained Lugembe.
