Dar es Salaam, 1st July 2021. Tanzania’s leading digital lifestyle company, Tigo, for the sixth year in a row, is once again the main communications sponsor for the 45th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) that is annually organized by Tanzania Trade Development Authority (Tan Trade).
The DTIF, commonly reffered as Saba Saba, this year will run under the theme ‘Industrialization for job creation and sustainable trade’. To support this theme, Tigo will showcase products and services that connects with customers lifestyle on a daily basis.
Commenting on the partnership, Tigo’s Corporate Communications Manager, Woinde Shisael, said that Tigo has been DITF Communication Sponsor for a record sixth year consecutively.This initiative being one of Tigo’s commitment to support the Government efforts to promote trade and the growth of local industries for the economic prosperity of the country.
In addition to this, Tigo has also partnered with 5 device manufacturers to offer exclusive internet and smartphone promotions to thousands of its customers who will be attending the exuberant trade fair at the Mwalimu Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds in Dar es Salaam.
