WhatsApp Rolls Out Status Updates to Notify Users About new Features

Facebook owned Instant messaging application WhatsApp, rolled out a new handy feature that will allow WhatsApp Status to Notify Users About New Features, Updates.

You will now be able to check WhatsApp announcement status after the company rolled out the feature world wide.

According to WhatsApp, the status feature will be used to show users the latest updates and features on the app.
You can view WhatsApp’s status on top of the rest of your contacts’ statuses.

“WhatsApp is now on Status! We’ll let you know about new features and updates here.” The company said on its first status.

Then added more status to assure users of their privacy.

“One thing that isn’t new is our commitment to privacy.”

“WhatsApp can’t read or listen to your personal conversations as they are end-to-end encrypted.” The status said.

Previously, WhatsApp released all the new announcements through its blog. However, from now onwards, users will be able to directly get these updates through their Status.

Recently, WhatsApp users moved to competitors. Signal and Telegram, over the app’s new privacy policy update on March 15, 2021

Clearing the air, WhatsApp, in a statement. Said the messaging platform was built on a simple idea of privacy protection, and will always protect users’ personal conversations with end-to-end encryption so that neither WhatsApp nor Facebook can see these private messages.
