Tanzania and Hungary have signed a sponsorship agreements for more than 30 Tanzanian students to study at universities in Hungary for three years from 2021 to 2023.
The Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Germany who also represents Hungary Dr. Abdalla Possi said the agreement provides an opportunity for Tanzanian students to get education in Hungarian universities for undergraduate, masters and postgraduate degrees in various academic fields.
He added that the agreement is another indication of the good relations that exist between the United Republic of Tanzania and Hungary and that the vacancies will continue to increase due to the Hungarian Government being pleased with the response of Tanzanians applying for such study opportunities.
In another development, the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Germany has officially opened the office of the Honorary Representative of Tanzania located in the city of Bruno in Czech Republic.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has approved Mr. Roman Grolig to be Tanzania’s honorary representative in the Czech Republic where Bruno is a strategic city where every year the city authorities organize, among other things, large trade fairs and tours in Europe.
The city of Bruno is also the headquarters of the Czech – Tanzania Business Council.
