Customers to get free 78GB of internet for the whole year
Dar es Salaam. 4th September , 2020. Tanzania’s leading digital lifestyle company, Tigo Tanzania, has partnered with Samsung electronics to unveil the Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra in Tanzania. The partnership is part of the telco’s strategy to drive usage of 4G technology in the country.
Tigo’s Device Manager, Mkumbo Myonga speaking during the launch of the Samsung Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra phones said, “It means a lot to us that Samsung has selected Tigo to be the first to stock and sell the Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra smart phones in the Tanzanian market. This is an illustration of the confidence that our partners have in our extensive distribution channels and our customer care team that offer top notch customer service at all times.”
“Our goal is to promote digital lifestyle in Tanzania. That is why we have partnered with Samsung in order to boost the number of smartphone and internet users in the country. We are set to provide Tanzanian population with the access to the latest technology, hence we are giving away FREE 78GB internet data for the whole year to all customers who purchase any of the Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra smartphones.”explained Myonga.
Tigo continues to accelerating smartphone penetration in the country while ensuring that all its customers enjoy the best digital experience via the ultra-fast 4G network which is the largest in the country.
Speaking during the exciting partnership, the Country Manager for Samsung Tanzania, Suleiman Mohamed said, Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra, a new series of flagship devices that fundamentally change the way we capture and experience our world.
“As we enter this new decade, how we communicate and how we experience the world around us has evolved. Samsung is therefore providing a next-generation device for transforming people’s lives. With an incredible AI powered camera, you can capture the moments as they happen and connect more seamlessly with the people you love ” said Suleiman Mohamed, samsung Electronics Country Manager, Tanzania.
The Note 20 will retail at 2,480,000 and the Note 20 Ultra 3,185,000 Tshs.
